This hostel sucked. They require a 3 night minimum as I’m sure they know that people would cancel after the 1st night. It’s filthy, smelly, and the staff are generally rude and dismissive besides the Frenchman who helped us with directions to a laundry mat. We arrived on a Friday night and signed up for the group Korean BBQ which was a total scam. While the food was good, the hostel charges $35 per person yet the menu at the restaurant states the big meal that fed four people costs $15. Four quiet, boring staff members “chaperoned” us eight guests and I’m sure they ate for free. They justify the $35 per person by saying the Soju is unlimited but two bottles at $5 a bottle was easily enough for four people.
Overall, there is zero love, attention or energy put into this place and you pay way more than you should. Avoid this hostel.

This place is so nice. Very close to Hongdae and price is so reasonable! All staffs are foreigners not korean. So there is no problem to communicate with them! Especially this guest house provides BBQ party with SOJU!!

I enjoyed my stay here. The staff is very friendly. There was an issue with my check in but Flo was super helpful sorting it out for me. The location is amazing and just a short walk to hongdae. The people here are very friendly and respectful as well. Overall it’s very good value.

Had a relaxed stay here for a few nights back in January. It looks like it would be a great social hostel in the warmer months, but I was here in the mid-winter low-season so it was very quiet.
Great location, really close to the Hongdae walking street and the MRT has direct airport access.
Staff were lovely, and the rooms were nice and warm. Bathrooms were a bit small and could have used a clean though.
I'd love to stay here again in the summer to really enjoy the social atmosphere when more people are around.

Worse hostel I have ever stayed at. The room had no AC and was extremely hot nobody in my dorm room got any sleep during the night. There were mosquitoes everywhere and I have about 20 new bites after just one night here. I didn’t sleep through the entire night. The beds were hard and unstable with no curtains in mixed dorm rooms. Bathrooms were not clean. No staff during nighttime. I normally never leave reviews but I wish someone had warned me before booking a night with this hostel!

I had a great stay at this hostel! The location is super convenient to get around Seoul. This hostel is a really sociable and fun place, great for meeting other travelers. The accommodation is ok, but totally fair for the price you pay. What really stood out was the friendliness of the staff, especially Maca. She was incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay. Definitely recommend it!

This hostel was not that good. First of all, it’s advertised as a party hostel yet there’s no alcohol allowed on property and you have to be quiet after 10 pm. It’s also not social at all. My 7th birthday party was more exciting than that. Also there’s hardly anyone there.

The rooms itself are like a jail cell. I felt like i was in a Korean jail, perhaps the owner took some notes from North of the border. flimsy beds, no curtains, the ladder on mg friends bed almost fell off as he was getting off and the screws appeared to be coming out. My friend was sleeping under the AC and he felt like frosty the snowman it was freezing. Not to mention, the hostel is $32 a night Canadian and you have to pay extra to use the lockers IN THE ROOM? For that price, I’d expect to use the lockers. Also there’s random sea creatures painted on the floor, which was cute but made no sense since we’re in Seoul not a beach town.

Bathrooms were always dirty, no toilet paper ever.

The common area isn’t a common area at all, it looks like a bar in somebody’s basement. Sort of like what an alcoholic uncle would build and say “look guys check it out what I built.” Also there’s like 5 chairs, All hard barstools no where comfortable to sit except the floor.

The staff aren’t Korean, they’re other travelers and seem rude and annoyed with their job.

All in all, I can’t recommend this hostel, it’s expensive and not worth the cost or experience. We left and got a private room in a much much better hostel down the road for $7 more.

I stayed 2 nights in this hostel, which is very well located, and metro is nearby. The rest is less positive: bed linen was dirty, the private room where I stayed was furnished with the very basics, 2 beds, one table and dirty curtains. Not enough shelve spaces for shoes at the entrance, so the floor is packed with guest shoes.
There is no soul and no atmosphere.
