4/5
The purpose of this review is to allow readers to make an informed decision when booking this hotel. We were there last week in September 2025 and stayed 5 nights.
Hotel location: Already mentioned by many here of its convenient location and proximity to the train station (City Hall exit 7) and shopping and Myeongdong.
Room : We booked a family room with 2 queen sized beds for 4 adults but found this meant the walking spaces were smaller due to the fixed room size since our luggage (x4) also occupied the floor spaces. No cupboards to hang clothes just a single wall rack with 4 hangars. The long mirror is at the entrance but the motion-detector light there keeps switching on and off and in a small room like this is uncomfortable because you cannot control it. They provide 4 bedroom slippers (plastic ones) which was good. There is a table where the kettle and mini fridge is but no power sockets in that place at all, so rather inconvenient to boil water, which had to be done at the dressing table area on the other side of the room. They provide a hairdryer, and 220ml bottles of drinking water for each guests (we had 4) daily.
Bed and pillows were fairly comfortable for us (pillows not hard but soft). Airconditioning was working well to our required specs.
37 inch wall TV is an android TV so we could go to YouTube and watch news etc in English. Room wifi was working fine for all 4 of us.
Bathroom/Shower: Plastic slippers given for all to use. Showering (hand held and overhead shower rose) in a long bath. No antislip mat, no shower curtains so the entire floor and adjoining basin top was wet after every shower. We had to go down to L3 to request for additional bath towel as they had only 3 for us in the beginning. They also provide midsized hand towels besides the floor towel rug. No toothbrush and toothpaste provided. 3 large bottles of showerfoam, shampoo and hairconditioner are available for use. A small soap bar for handwashing at the basin. Wash basin tap is mixed hot and cold which is great but in our case C was for hot and H was for cold. Basin top is large enough to place everyone's toiletries but then risk getting them all wet after each shower. Sometimes everyone wants to use the toilet at the same time so the other location would be at the basement where ladies have 4 cubicles but the guys only 1!
Service personnel: All polite but the two we interacted with do not speak English well and we resorted to Google Translator to chat. Check in time is 3pm and checkout time is 11am and they seem inflexible on any change which we did not challenge.
Key card: Asked for at least two as one is not enough. You need one to activate the room yet if you leave the room you need to exit the corridor that has another sliding door activated also by a key card when you reenter. So if you are in a group, this becomes inconvenient for all.
Complimentary breakfast and coffee: We got 4 breakfast coupons (redeem at Basement, last call at 9.30am) and 4 coffee coupons (redeem at L1 cafe and needed to be used by the next day. Coffee offered was Americano hot. Breakfast was fine and we had enough to eat, so all good here. If you wish to buy additional breakfast coupons, they cost 15k KRW each.
Hope these information helps you in your choosing of where to stay when in Seoul.
External amenities: Just very nearby the hotel is a G25 convenience store, and across the hotel (small road) are food and cafes etc so no issues having food but do note they do not open early. And oh no porters, you carry your own luggage to your rooms!
