The location of the hotel is in a busy neighbourhood. There are many stalls on the street in front of the door and it gets very loud until after midnight! You can hear everything in the rooms, which are not well insulated, especially on the lower floors. If you can stand that and prefer to be within walking distance of a lot in a lively neighbourhood, this is the right hotel for you. The beds are very comfortable, the rooms relatively spacious and the staff very friendly. The roof terrace is also very nice, but the prices are steep.

If you like street food, tons of restaurants, and close to bus station and Subway. This is the hotel you should be staying in.
Everywhere you walk, there is food all around you.
The front desk are very friendly and speak English very well. Only in few instance that you need to pull out your Google translate, so they will understand what you are asking.
Some restaurants that are popular and require reservations, if you don't have a Korean phone number, front desk will be happy to make the reservation for you.
You could always ask the front desk where is a good place to eat, because there are so many that you could choose from.
But first you must tell them what you like to eat or what type of food you are looking for while staying in Seoul.
They also have washer and dryer but require a credit card to use it.

Despite the tiny room size, it was a very cozy hotel with an unbeatable location. They had a great selection for their breakfast, including smoked salmon, green salads, danishes, etc, and there was a live station that made food per request. Plus, coffee and tea were available all the time. Service was not bad either.

Perfect for exploring Insadong & beyond. There is a subway station literally outside the front door. Clean rooms, comfy beds, & a fun vibe. Only minor downside was there was a bit of noise at night, but it wasn't too bad. Amazing views from the rooftop bar. The customer laundry room was very handy, cheap and easy to use. Great value!

Very good and modern hotel! Great for two people staying in one of the smaller rooms. The overall vibe of the hotel feels very modern and new and gives the feeling of cleanliness. The area is good but not amazing, but if you are traveling around the city, which you most likely are, it is perfectly good! The only people I would probably not recommend this hotel for would be families brining young kids.

There is one fundamental problem that has to be fixed. The aircon blows directly at the head of the person when sleeping on the bed. They have to reposition the vent. |The bathrooms are modern and the wood floor feels clean. Don’t like the lobby on the top floor. It would be better if it was on the ground level. |Location:|This hotel is in a lively if somewhat downmarket part of Insadong. Outside the entrance is obscured by a subway entrance so yiu may miss it. There are eating tents and a public toilet outside with people smoking at night so it feels a bit grungy. The upside is there are reasonable restaurants around the corner and a night market. But the cost of the room is lower so you get what you pay for. Some of the Western tourists who stay here look a bit shifty. |Overall if you are on a budget this place offers nice modern rooms. They just have to fix the aircon direction. Also the location may be a little grungy for some.

Loved this hotel in Insadong! Rooms were spacious and super clean. Staff was always incredibly cordial and kind. Right by the metro lines and was incredibly easy to get around. Metro stopped right in front of the door. Couldn’t even get closer in a cab if you wanted to. Hotel breakfast was great (though on the pricier side). Overall great experience and would definitely stay again.

Y오키도키 (여행준비)

5호선-종로3가역 4번출구 바로 옆에 있어서 대중교통이용시 아주 편한 숙소이다. (1호선 아님)
1층에서 바로 16층으로 올라가면
체크데스크가 있어 의아했는데
또 편한 점도 있는 것 같다.
15층숙소를 배정 받아 입실했는데
생각보다 쓸모있는 구성으로 매우 만족.

가방만 놓고 13시에 2층에 내려
분위기좀 보고 가려는데
직원분이 친절하게
"들어오셔서 커피드시라"고 안내를
해주시는 바람에
조용한 분위기에 커피한잔.

내일 조식 할 때나 오려했는데
24시간 커피,음료를 제공한다고
해서 괜히 기분이 좋아졌다.

층층이 뽐내고 있는 색감이 너무 매력적인 곳이라 생각이 들었고 때문에
기분이 업되는 느낌이 들어 꽤 좋았다.

다음날 조식시간에 맞춰서 갔는데
오우! 많은 사람에 좀 당황했다.
한식,양식이 부페식으로 차려져 있어
부담없이 골라 먹을 수 있어 만족했다.
둘째날 조식은
아주 조용하고 느긋하게
설명과 더불어 첨 먹어 보는 것도
아주 맛있게 먹고 나왔다.
